Hi, I'm Agnes, Agnes the Alien (it/its, zhe/zher, she/her). I'm a 24 year old computer hobbyist living in the Midwestern USA. I'm very interested in fandom, and fandom is what guides most of my tech projects. I really enjoy female characters, minor characters, rarepairs, toxic F/F relationships, alien science fiction, and relationships between sisters. I've been in fandom for 14 years (don't do the math...) and I got into computer stuff around the age of 9, left it alone for a bit, and then got back into it in August 2025.

Some of the projects I'm most proud of: deploying the code behind Archive of Our own not once, but twice, and adding status updates to the ao3 code.

I'm also a writer and I've been writing since I was 4, writing fanfiction since I was 11. I adore creativity and it is my main reason for living...
